Deliver items to bring comfort and cheer to help families of kids with cancer in our Eastern Region

Deliver groceries and other material assistance to families of kids with cancer.

Packages are picked up in the Eastern Regional office located in Wall Township in Monmouth County to be delivered to town(s) in Monmouth, Ocean, Mercer and Middlesex Counties.

Deliveries are generally made once per month - holidays/birthdays may require additional delivery.

Items vary from 2-8 bags, pre-packed, with non-perishable groceries and goodies.

Each volunteer would have the same family(ies) and route(es) each month. You can volunteer for one or more families.

Training will be provided. Climbing stairs may be involved.

A background check is required - we can get you one for $18 from the State of NJ if you can't provide your own.

Spanish-speaking not required, but a plus!

ECF provides NJ families faced with the crisis of pediatric cancer a place to turn for comfort and support through professional in-home counseling and a uniquely tailored package of assistance. We accomplish this through:  24-7 counseling for the entire family by professional caseworkers  advocacy on behalf of the families with insurance companies, medical providers, landlords, etc.  material support such as food, clothing, toys, and household items  emergency financial relief

Volunteer opportunities are based at one of our four locations in Bergen, Gloucester, Monmouth or Union counties, and may include other areas of New Jersey.
