Butterfly Garden

We need several adults who enjoy gardening to help us with upkeep in our butterfly garden. This includes raking, pulling weeds, watering and anything else recommended by the city grounds staff. An application for library volunteers is available through this posting, at our website or at the library.

Description

Public Library has served

1 Children’s Librarian - BA Belton since 1899. Belton's population is 25,000. Physical plant has 5659 square feet. Current collection size is 31,000 items. We have separate Children's and Young Adult collections and programs. We have a Friends of the Library group, which raises money and gives away books at local events like Christmas on the Chisholm Trail. We also host a writers group on the first Thursday and a poets group on the second Thursday of each month.
