During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Arrange a Day of Service with your friends, co-workers or family members. SF Village staff will help you coordinate a Day of Service where your group can volunteer to help members cross a few things off of their pesky to-do lists. You'll help with chores like flipping mattresses, climbing ladders to change light bulbs, pruning gardens, dusting bookshelves, doing laundry and providing basic technology training. This is a great opportunity to help someone in need while meeting new people.
The activities take place at each member's home. Each group will break up into groups of 4 to 6 and work two hours at each home in different neighborhoods within San Francisco.

To help San Franciscans navigate the transitions of aging, we partner with our members to connect them with the community, programming and expertise they need to live lives of purpose and meaning.
What is the San Francisco Village?
San Francisco Village is a non-profit membership organization that connects older San Franciscans to the community, programming and expertise they need to live lives of purpose and meaning. We offer a network of volunteers, high-quality resources, services, programs, and activities that help our members stay independent and in charge of their lives as they age.
VISION
Nourish, enrich, and enhance the experience of aging in our community with a membership that reflects the diversity of our city.
Through our own programs as well as collaborations with many other San Francisco organizations, SFV is committed to older adults living their lives the way they want with friends and family - normal, natural, joyful aging in the place they love best - their homes and apartments, and in San Francisco.
We'll work with your schedule.
