Ronald McDonald House is in need of a dedicated, caring volunteer (or 2 or 3) to maintain our lawn for the summer. This would include mowing, weed whacking, picking up branches and keeping the equipment gassed up and in good working order. We have both a ride-on mower and weed-whacker for you to use.
This is an excellent opportunity for a retiree or hard-working college student, but all are welcome to apply.

Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its programs are grassroots-driven to enable the Charity to offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which help in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have awarded more than $460 million in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
RMHC of Burlington, VT operates The Ronald McDonald House in the heart of downtown Burlington just a few blocks away from the University of Vermont Children's Hospital; The Ronald McDonald Family Room located right on the patient care floor of UVM Children's Hospital; and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile that partners with rural schools around the state to provide dental services to youth who are in need.
