If you’re looking for a meaningful team-building volunteer opportunity for your company or organization, working on site with Green Star Movement is a great fit! Your team will have the opportnity to learn about each other while having fun, supporting local youth, and contributing to an inspiring piece of public art!
Our projects take place at schools, parks, and other public spaces throughout Chicago during the spring and summer. We recommend shifts of three hours or more and we can accommodate groups of 5-30 people, depending on site location.
Volunteers will help install large-scale mosaic murals. No training necessary!

Green Star Movement inspires students and community members through the creation of public art. This interactive process builds teamwork and self esteem in the participants and revitalizes urban neighborhoods.
Description
Since our founding in 2005, Green Star Movement has provided nearly 6000 students with mural arts programming and successfully transformed the interiors and exteriors of over 60 public spaces, including schools, parks, community centers, and thoroughfares.
