The nation’s largest single-day food drive to help feed needy families and children will be held on Saturday, May 13. On that day, residents will leave a bag of non-perishable food donations near their mailbox. Local letter carriers will collect the donations, and Feeding Northeast Florida staff and volunteers will help distribute the donations to families in need.
To make this food drive possible, we need residents to participate by leaving food near their mailbox, and volunteers to help us sort the donations at 11 post office locations around Jacksonville. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Kaci Honeycutt at khoneycutt@feedingNEFL.org for more information!
