Every 2 seconds someone's identity is stolen. As part of AARP’s Operation Stop Scams initiative we are hosting shredathons across the state during the final week of April.
You can make an IMMEDIATE impact in your community simply by moving bags of sensitive personal documents from cars to our shred truck. Best of all you will experience first-hand the gratitude of each person who drives through thanking you for helping them protect themselves from fraud and scams.
Volunteers will greet participants, help remove materials from cars, and distribute AARP's Fraud Watch Network materials to attendees.
Your participation in this event will make a difference!
