Mission Statement
The mission of the District 2E2 Eyeglass Recycling Center is to provide eyeglasses, when available and without cost, to missions in developing areas of the world, who have a method of determining the refractive status of the eye.
Description
The District 2E2 Eyeglass Recycling Center is a satellite of the Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center, a Lions Clubs International entity.
You are most welcome to come and help us. We are open on Saturday’s from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, most volunteers work a 3 - hour shift either from 9 to noon or from noon to 3. Please let us know the dates and times you would like to volunteer. Our facility is small so we can only accommodate about 15 volunteers at a time.
We are located at 5621 Bunker Blvd., Watauga 76148, in the rear portion of Eloy Leal's State Farm Insurance office building. Follow the wooden walkway on the east (right) side of the building to the last door and come in.
There are no specific skills required and there are no physical limitations.
