Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s annual WISH! Gala raises much needed funds to fulfill our mission of granting the wishes for Hawaii’s keiki facing the challenges of life-threatening medical conditions. Last year's event helped us grant 92 local wishes for children across our state, including Kaimana's wish to be a canoe builder. This year, over 100 children in Hawaii will be newly diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition and it is our goal to grant the wish of every eligible child. We know that we can with your help! We are excited to announce this year’s annual WISH! Gala, "A Night in Old Hawaii"

Our mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
Although it has become one of the world's most well-known charities, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has maintained the grassroots fulfillment of its mission.
Our networks of volunteers enable Make-A-Wish Hawaii to serve children with critical illnesses. Volunteers assist with special events, and serve as wish granters, fundraisers, and office volunteers. Volunteers are essential to the success of our mission and valued partners in uplifting our wish families.
