Global Green is currently working with 10 cities in California to start-up and expand food scrap recovery and composting programs with apartment buildings.

We're seeking help from a media professional to help us use the pilots as a broader educational tool through compelling images and articles that can be used on the Global Green website, social media, and for conference presentations to educate and engage a broader audience.

Media professionals are welcome to contribute in a variety of ways given their invidual areas of expertise such as with articles, social media and other aveneus. We find that by some of the time having an 'external' voice on the blog will help deliver the message to our audience in a different way than the communications materials created by our in house team.

Some of the content and impact that we'd like to address are:

- guidance recommendations to local governments, waste agencies, and community organizations in Northern and Southern California as well as nationally on how to implement food scrap diversion program to apartment buildings. - benefits that can be achieved through enhanced resident outreach using the Global Green innovative model. - stories from project participants ranging from residents, affordable housing agencies, building owners, partners and city officials highlighting the benefits of this program at various stakeholder levels.
