Earn your community service hours in a fun and compassionate environment! Crossroads Hospice is looking for volunteers in the Trumbull County area to serve in Nursing Facilities and patients homes!

Crossroads Hospice’s volunteering program is always looking for committed and caring members of our community who want to volunteer for hospice help. If you have an interest in spending time with patients, have special talents you would like to share, or want to lend a hand in our office, you should consider joining us as an Ultimate Giver.

Crossroads Hospice Ultimate Givers are a dedicated team of hospice volunteers who strive to provide extra love and comfort to terminally ill patients. The Ultimate Givers of Crossroads Hospice are committed to helping our patients and their families. Volunteering can take less than one hour a week!

Crossroads Hospice has a dedicated team of volunteers who strive to provide extra love and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families. Volunteers donate time for direct patient care through, "Gift of a Day," pet companionship,"Gift of Gratitude," and music, to name just a few of our ways of providing dignity and quality of life to our patients. Indirect care may also be provided by volunteering for office support and special projects.

Crossroads Hospice offers a highly skilled team comprised of doctors, nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers to create and administer patient care for people at the end of their life. We are advocates for maximizing life.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 16
  • Orientation or Training
  • Availability completely up to you! 1hr per month and upward from there! Earn hours based on the number of patients, not on time you were present. For ex) You volunteer for 1hr and 5 patients were present in facility, you will earn 5hrs!!!
