Are you Caring, Compassionate, and excited to help others? Well, Deaconess Hospice is the place for you! We are looking for volunteers that are motivated to use their unique skills to help enhance the quality of life for our patients, while providing an excellent learning opportunity for yourself.

We would love to have you join us at our office to become part of our team to work on various projects that help us give excellent care to our patients and their families and further our mission. Some of those examples are answering the phone, filing, putting packages together, preparing out mailing and helping us prepare for events.

We have some new additional opportunities that you could do right from the comfort of your own home ,like encouraging a caregiver with a call or a card, making a "happy" for a patient, just to name a few.

Know that if you have just couple of hours a month, we would love to have you and you would be making a huge difference to our families.

By helping us by providing administrative support as well as helping us get ready for an event, or helping us assemble marketing initiatives, it all helps our mission, and we absolutely have a place for you!

Please call Nicole Moore at 601 261-4010 or email miriam.moore@LHCgroup.com

We have plenty of other volunteer opportunities as well. Please take a moment and view our other listings to find one that fits you!

We believe that every moment matters. We believe in compassionate care. Most of all, we believe in dignity and respect for each patient we serve.
