Is your certified and trained therapy dog ready for a hospice patient assignment? Both you and your dog will make an amazing impact with our end-of-life patients and their families. Handlers attend our 8-week training program starting late September, 2017 at Northwestern Medicine Home Health & Hospice, 690 E. North Avenue in Carol Stream.
- Northwestern Medicine Home Health & Hospice provides comprehensive training programs for volunteers that visit patients. Not only will the skills you receive during training be applicable to your volunteer service, but they’ll aid in your everyday life. More importantly, you will make an enormous impact in the lives of those you touch. We have opportunities in the morning, afternoon and evening. Weekend opportunities are also available.
