Join us for our Medical Heroes Appreciation Run & Walk in Seattle, WA to celebrate the study volunteers who give the gift of participation in clinical research. The Medical Heroes Appreciation Run & Walk for professionals will begin at 6:30am on Saturday, April 29, in conjunction with the annual meeting at the Washington State Convention Center. Registration is free, however a donation of $25 or higher is encouraged. All proceeds will provide education and outreach about clinical research participation to patients and their families in minority and under-served communities.
We currently need help with the following:
- Managing the registration table
- Providing directional assistance along the course
- Handing out water bottles and cheering on our participants
- Helping to set-up the tables and start/finish area at each event
- Managing the water stations

The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) was founded in 2003, and is a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging the public and patients as partners in the clinical research process. As part of its mission, CISCRP provides a variety of award-winning resources, programs and services that are designed to assist clinical research stakeholders in understanding public and patient attitudes and experiences in research as well as improving volunteer participation experiences and satisfaction.
