VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for our 15 th Annual Inner City Mini-Marathon & Health Festival on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Activities for the day consist of the HEART&MIND Mini-Marathon: Inner City Bicycle & Long Boarding Tour& 5k Walk and Roll. Following the Mini-Marathon, participants are invited to enjoy the FREE outdoor Health Festival. City Lites Network Inc. encourages families, youth, seniors, and those with physical and mental challenges to attend this very unique and essential community event. It includes a vast Health Pavilion, Korean Pavilion, Veteran Resources, Expungement Clinic, Youth Village, Community Resources, Adult and Kid Live Entertainment Stages, Food Trucks, and FUN for the ENTIRE Family! Volunteers are integral in making certain that guests are enjoying their time at the event and the event’s overall success. Without the help of dedicated community members it would be difficult for us to succeed. Volunteers will be helping to set up the event, working registration, working the various event areas (kid zone, vendors, entertainment stage, etc), and event clean-up. Day-of-Event Staff Needed (4-hour shift) starting at 6am. Jesse Owens Park Time Slots: ·6am - 10am ·8am - 12pm ·10am -2pm ·12pm - 4pm ·2pm - 6pm
