If you are a Veteran we could use your help! Compassus Hospice is looking for Veteran volunteers to spend time with fellow veterans at the end of their lives. Veteran volunteers have the unique ability to relate to patients with military service and understand their needs. The camaraderie created between veterans has proven to be supportive for all involved. Join our Veteran to Veteran volunteer program!

What can volunteers do?

  • Make friendly visits in facilities near you

  • Provide caregiver relief and respite

  • Complementary Therapy such as

  • Reiki, Massage, and Pet Therapy

  • Read

  • Listen

  • Share a special talent like music or crafts

  • Administrative support

What do we provide?

And at the heart of Hospice Compassus, we focus on compassionate options to exhaustive treatments, incorporating the wishes of patients and loved ones in all end of life decisions.
