VisionWalk is the national signature walk-a-thon event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Please help us reach our $115 goal in order to fund sight-saving research. As promising treatments move into critical human studies, the need for research funding is greater than ever.
This year, our 12th Annual Orange County VisionWalk will take place at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. We need as many volunteers as we can get to help us pull off this incredible event! Help is needed with set-up, registration, route monitors, kids area, food service, and other various positions. Volunteers will be fed and will receive a cool t-shirt to commemorate the day!

The urgent mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) is to drive the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration, Usher syndrome, and the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases.
Description
Please join us for the inaugual San Diego VisionWalk, our signature fundraising 5K walk-a-thon fundraiser. This year's Walk will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. Registration begins at 9:00 A.M. and the Walk starts at 10:00 A.M. Volunteer opportunities are available from 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. The Walk is a great family day for all!
