USGBC Minnesota Community records monthly educational presentation sessions and an annual conference for publication on Education@USGBC. As a video editor for USGBC Minnesota Community you will be responsible for assembling recorded raw video .mp4’s into a finished product suitable for publication on Education@USGBC.

Responsibilities
- Correspond with MN Project Manager on a monthly basis to understand video editing needs.
- Edit video within one-two weeks of it being uploaded on shared drive
- Video Editing includes:
- Insert opening title
- Insert program title with presenter name and titles
- Insert learning objectives
- Insert sponsor logo
- Edit out blips or awkward moments
- Add subtitles during Q&A section if speakers forget to repeat audience questions (if question can be heard, or edit out question)
- Use editing software of your choice
Benefits
As a video editor with USGBC MN you can earn at minimum 2 hours of GBCI Continuing Education credits per month. 1 for watching the video and 1 for editing.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of how to use a video editing software, or willingness to learn one.
- Detail oriented, responsive, creative, strong work ethic.
Time Commitment
2-4 hours per month
