At the Big Dipper Ice Cream Festival on June 24th, we need volunteers who will be willing to scoop ice cream, sell raffle tickets, work in our food tent, face paint, and do other miscellaneous tasks. Volunteers receive free ice cream and a Big Dipper t-shirt.
This is an all-day event and we welcome volunteers to come in 4 hours shifts.
We also need help on Friday, June 23rd in the morning to help us set up Elm Park for the Big Dipper. This involves pitching tents, setting up tables and chairs, and carting boxes to different areas. A pizza lunch is provided.
All proceeds from the Big Dipper benefit the programs of Children's Friend. Founded in 1849, we are the oldest child and family service agency in central Massachusetts.
