Help run a great dog event in Simsbury, CT - Be our Graphic Designer!

At The Rob Branham Foundation we’re planning our annual dog event, to be held on September 30, 2018 and are looking for someone to design a sponsorship & vendor brochure, flyers, the program guide and some simple signage for the event. Raise a Paw Against Leukemia has 3 components to it: (1) a dog walk with 'challenge stations’ throughout it that owners can opt to have their dogs participate in; (2) dog fund-raising, in which dog owners can have their dogs get pledges (online crowdfunding) for their participation in any parts of the event (or just raise funds because they want to), and (3) a pet-related fair, with vendors and dog adoption opportunities. Dogs that get pledges are automatically entered into drawings for prizes.

We’re looking for someone who can design four types of things: a sponsorship & vendor brochure, flyers, the event program guide and some simple signs to have at the event. The sponsorship & vendor brochure will be a 3-panel document and include graphics and text. The flyers will be one-page documents, needed in both black and white and color, and will include graphics and text. The program guide will have several components: (1) lay-out of the dog walk & challenge stations; (2) lay-out of the fair vendor booths; (3) list of all vendors & booth numbers; (4) list of all sponsors & advertisers; (5) ads from local businesses; and (5) information about The Rob Branham Foundation. The program guide will be in a booklet form and measure 4.25 X 5.5 inches. The signs will include challenge station signs, directional signs for use on the walk course and for parking, and a large sign thanking sponsors & advertisers.

The Graphic Designer must be able to use either Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop and will receive all needed information electronically. If need be, we can divide the graphic design tasks between 2 volunteers. If you’d like to use your graphic design skills to help our event be successful, we’d love to hear from you!
