Get your work out while you help out. Volunteer with the ReStore, one of the biggest sources of funding for Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area. The ReStore focuses on re-selling donated items such as furniture, appliances, and building materials. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to work as part of a team to help unload donations from our truck and donor vehicles, move merchandise, price items, and more. This position spends a considerable amount of time outside and you will need to dress for the weather. Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesday-Saturday and volunteer shifts are typically from 9am - 1pm, 1pm - 5pm, or 9am - 5pm. Come out and join our fun loving team and give back to your community.

Description
We are an interfaith grass roots housing ministry with the goal of eliminating poverty housing. Unwilling to accept the fact that thousands of families live without adequate shelter, Habitat for Humanity challenges and invites individuals, religious organizations, companies, foundations, and other organizations to join in partnership with people who are living in inadequate housing to improve their living conditions.
