UF/IFAS Center for Aquatic and Invasive Plants is seeking a volunteer photographer to record activities during our annual PLANT CAMP 2017 being held June 12 -19, 2017. Our days start early (generally around 7:30 am) and end around 5:30 pm. We have 24 camp participants which we transport by bus to different venues throughout each day. Typically we are outside in the morning and inside in the afternoons. Catered lunches are provided each day, as well as hydrating drinks and snacks. One day will involve an airboat ride at Lake Tohopekaglia in Kissimmee.

We are looking for an outgoing, creative person to take candid photos which we can utilize to promote our educational programs on our website and in other media forms.

While we do not at the present have funds to offer a stipend, this could provide a qualified student an opportunity to build his/her portfolio.

For more information about PLANT CAMP, you can view a short video at http://plants.ifas.ufl.edu/education/plant-camp/.
