Volunteers building trail

Join Volunteers for Outdoor California and East Bay Regional Parks District for a trail maintenance project at Sycamore Grove Park in Livermore. Join over 100 other volunteers in creating safe and sustainable trails in the park. Volunteers will work to create new trails in the newly acquired Sycamore Grove Extension.

Volunteers are welcome to join us for one day or camp for the weekend. Breakfast and lunch are provided for volunteers Saturday and Sunday, along with a dinner celebration Saturday evening. The nature of V-O-Cal projects allows for volunteers to participate in a number of capacities: trail workers, cooks, kitchen helpers, registration workers, camp managers and tool managers are all needed to make this project a success. We have a role for all ability levels. All tools and training are provided; no experience is necessary.

Camping opens Friday 4/28 at 5pm. The work day begins at 8am on Saturday and 8:30am on Sunday, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to enjoy breakfast and prepare your lunch. More details at
