Family Eldercare's Lifetime Connections Without Walls program offers group activities via a conference call to homebound seniors in the community. We are seeking a volunteer to facilitate a 30 minute session once a week that discusses current events (news stories, contemporary discussion topics.) This is a remote position and all that is needed is access to a reliable phone, internet provider, and computer. Basic background check is required (volunteer will need Texas Driver's License for check.) Training and Support is provided.

Description
Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
