The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is seeking talented individuals familiar with children's activities to assist with our "Reading the Culture, Reading as Resistance" Book Fair. Volunteers are needed to assist with greeting and directing visitors, distributing books, and assisting with craft activities for children. Mission Statement

To be the premier experience and best resource for information and inspiration about the lives of African American Marylanders. The museum seeks to realize its mission by collecting, preserving, interpreting, documenting and exhibiting the rich contributions of African American Marylanders from the state's earliest history to the present and the future.

Description

The museum is located in downtown Baltimore on President and Pratt Streets. Volunteers will be utilized in all areas of the museum such as our museum shop, resource center, theater, providing tours to groups, and school age children, and assisting with special events.
