As a Meals on Wheels driver, you will make a big difference in a short amount of time. You will deliver nutritious lunches to seniors and adults with disabilities in the area who are not able to cook for themselves. Along with providing a meal, you will be an anticipated visit from a welcome face. You will pick up meals from Jubilee Foods in Mound at 10a.m. and deliver about 6meals, depending on the day. Your route will take about 30 minutes.
This position is available Monday-Friday. You may serve daily, weekly, or even a couple of times a month, depending on your preferences and availability. We are currently in need of a driver available on Wednesdays. We are also looking for volunteers who would like to be on the sub list.
