The Equestrian Therapy Program

We need horse-minded Volunteers--people who can lead or walk beside horses who are carrying disabled riders.

We also have many other Volunteer opportunities here on the farm.

Mission Statement

The Equestrain Therapy Program is a 501-c-3 charitable corporation organized to improve the quality of life for the disabled by providing equine-facilitated activities and therapies in Lima and the surronding ten-county area in Northwest Ohio.

We are a PATH INTL. Certified Program that provides therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with disabilities. The horse has a unique gait that mimics walking and is a wonderful therapeutic tool for our riders. Our riders experience increased muscle tone, balance, posture and strength.

We also provide programing for behaviorally challenged and alternative learners. The students partner with the horse in a safe and stimulating learning environment. The ETP Learning Model focuses on academic standards, developmental assets and character skills.

We'll work with your schedule.
