Duck Race site is behind Joe's Crab Shack- Ducks Drop at 7pm
Help us to sell duck adoptions and spread the word about our Ken-Ducky Derby! This year when you adopt a duck, you could win a truck! Training is mandatory for all volunteers at Harbor House (2231 Lower Hunters Trace), though other arrangments can be made for groups. All volunteers will receive a KDD t-shirt and a Pegasus Pin that you must wear at your shift. You will need to get all pins, training, and t-shirts from Harbor House (2231 Lower Hunters Trace) prior to your shift by April 26 at 1pm. Most shifts also require a copy/picture of your license.

Tuesday (4/18) 10am-3:30pm
Thursday (4/20) 8am-4pm
Friday (4/21) Noon-3pm
Sunday (4/23) 1pm-4pm
Monday (4/24) 8am-4pm
Tuesday (4/25) 8am-4pm
Wed. (4/26) 8am-1pm

Description
Participants come from 8:00-3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, to participate in a multitude of programs and services. In addition to on-site and community paid employment, participants enjoy social and recreational activities such as community excursions, life skills training, exercise classes and creative activities. Participants also serve as volunteers in the community. In many ways, Harbor House provides a critical respite for families who most often must make life-altering sacrifices to care for their son or daughter with mental retardation and/or development disabilities.
