ORGANIZATION: Soldiers' Angels - Charleston

Want to volunteer but have limited time? Then here is how you can get plugged in to help. We are currently growing our Soldiers' Angels, Charleston Team and are looking for volunteers who can help out "occasionally" with planned events. This person will assist in organizing events hosted by Soldiers' Angels. Luncheons, pizza parties, BINGO or other events that are meant to boost morale of patients at the VA Medical Center. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help with events in the community such as the mobile food distribution held monthly and fundraising events.

The volunteer will be involved along with the team in all aspects of the events to include set-ups, clean-ups, patient assistance and more.

Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic about working with Veterans
  • Organized, flexible and willing to help as needed
  • Reliable
  • Personable and have good communications skills
  • Willing to work as part of team to create succesful event
