PLACEMENT PURPOSE
This position exists primarily to appropriately install new smoke alarms or batteries in working smoke alarms and to test them. It is part of a smoke alarm home visit team.
OPEN TIME DAYS
5-10 hours per weekend, once a quarter on average
- American Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
- Disaster Services: An Overview (optional)
- Home Fire Preparedness Campaign Guidance and Training: Safety for Home Visits, Smoke Alarm Installation, and other required training.
