Join us for our Clinical Trial Volunteer Cheer - a Medical Heroes 5K event - in Seattle, WA to celebrate study volunteers who give the gift of participation in clinical research. Our 5K event will begin at 9:00AM on Saturday, April 29 at Magnuson Park. As part of the event, CISCRP will offer complimentary health screenings, giveaways, free food, educational resources about clinical research, as well as prizes for best super hero costumes, top fundraisers, and most spirited teams. All proceeds go towards education and outreach programs that empower patients and increase health literacy. PLUS: The Greater Gift Initiative is teaming up with CISCRP again to offer a vaccine to a child in need on behalf of every registrant! Prizes for top runners, top fundraisers, the team with the most spirit and more!
We're currently looking for help with the following:
- Managing the registration table
- Providing directional assistance along the course
- Handing out water bottles and cheering on our participants
- Helping to set-up the tables and start/finish area at each event
- Managing the water stations

Description
The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) was founded in 2003, and is a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging the public and patients as partners in the clinical research process. As part of its mission, CISCRP provides a variety of award-winning resources, programs and services that are designed to assist clinical research stakeholders in understanding public and patient attitudes and experiences in research as well as improving volunteer participation experiences and satisfaction.
