We are looking for someone who has experience in graphic design and video making. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for recent college grads or young professionals looking to build their portfolios. If you are someone:
- With a passion for design
- Who wants to make a difference in the lives of animals in need
- With unique creativity who can also take direction without losing your creative spark
- Who wants to gain professional experience and build your portfolio
Responsibilities
- Help maintain the Paw Prints in the Sand Brand
- Develop assets and collateral including printed and online materials and t-shirt designs
- Develop video content
- Creative brainstorming on new ideas and innovative ways to engage our audiences with great visual experiences
Skills - Experience in using Photoshop, Squarespace, and iMovie (or other video production platforms)
- Ability to write HTML and CSS a big plus!
- Ability to do whiteboard videos and animation also a big plus!
This is an on-going opportunity. There are no set days or hourly commitment.
COMPENSATION
This is an unpaid position, but it is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience with a growing non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to save as help save as many lives as possible and put an end to animal abuse, abandonment and neglect. We strive reduce shelter overpopulation, owner surrenders and the number of stray animals who roam our streets by promoting spaying and neutering. We also promote responsible pet ownership and pet retention.
Description
Paw Prints in the Sand Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) all- animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abused, abandoned, neglected and stray companion animals.
We rescue the pets that no one else will - severe medical, abuse and behavioral cases, pregnant pets and their litters, and senior pets.
Headquartered in Orange County, California, Paw Prints in the Sand is an all-volunteer, all-foster organization committed to animals in need, providing them with the utmost care, and helping them learn to love and trust again. We take considerable care in finding the perfect home for our rescue pets and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives.
We also serve as a resource to pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including positive behavior training and information on good nutrition. We are here to assist you in every possible way throughout the adoption process and will continue to be a resource after you have welcomed your new pet into your life.
