Ride or volunteer for the American Cancer Society at the UPMC Health Plan Pedal Pittsburgh event. Volunteers are needed for pre-event activities and on the day of event to support the American Cancer Society riders. --August 27, 2017
Volunteer opportunities include:
Community outreach - hand out postcards/flyers at Pittsburgh bike rides, night markets and farmers markets.
Packet pick up - distribute packets to ride registrants, potential dates August 16, 19, 26.
Day of event rider registration, adopt an intersection, drive SAG vehicles (help fix flat tires, distribute water and basic medical supplies), hand out snacks, water, or play DJ for a few hours.
