Blessings Abound is currently seeking volunteers to greet customers as they enter and exit the store. Duties involved: being friendly, answering basic questions, sharing the mission of the store if asked. This is a great opportunity for someone who needs to be sitting without much physical activity. Mission Statement
Blessings Abound and our new, More Blessings, are Christian non-profit (501 c 3) are retail thrift stores, serving the, Kansas City Metro Community. Proceeds from our sales of donated goods & monetary contributions are used to support local non-profit organizations serving the homeless, and allieviating poverty by providing: clothing, furniture, basic household goods, temporary housing, and food.
Description
Blessings Abound Thrift Store opened 15 years ago in a small retail location in Overland Park, Kansas. As our mission outreach grew, we moved to our present location, and recently expanded our location opening a second store located in the same shopping center at 10325 Metcalf and 10363 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. 66212. Metcalf, Overland Park Ks. 66212.
Our mission continues to grow including the outreach programs we support each year.
September 24, 2022, Blessing Abound was awarded, The
"Pillar of the Community" award.
