Looking for a weekend group volunteer opportunity that's flexible? Something you can do with a friend or two?
Bring your group to Cooks for Kids at Ronald McDonald House Children's St. Paul! (Next to United Hospital) or Gillette Hospital (inside Regions Hospital.) Groups plan, purchase, and prepare a meal for our families who visit our house while their child is receiving critial care. Provide a warm meal and a friendly face!
We are looking for groups to make brunch or dinner on the weekends! Cook a meal with your friends, neighbors, or coworkers in our fully equipped kitchen and serve it to our Ronald McDonald House families!
We especially need groups to join us at our St. Paul locations in Children's Hospital St. Paul and Gillette. These locations can accommodate a group of up to 2-6 volunteers. It's a great way to volunteer and have fun doing it! So grab your friends and head on over to our house!

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.
Description
We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:
- Lodging
- Meals
- Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
- Laundry facilities
- An accredited K-12 school
- Workout facilities
- Supportive, family-focused programming
We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
