Sustainable Contra Costa is a nonprofit that educates, connects and inspires Contra Costa individuals and organizations to embrace a sustainable lifestyle. Our programs and initiatives leverage the power of individual and community-wide daily actions to transform the way we interact with each other and the world around us.

We have an immediate volunteer opportunity for a solid Auction Fundraiser Coordinator dedicated to creating and maintaining sustainable communities. Working with staff and other volunteers, this volunteer will coordinate the silent auction fundraiser at Sustainable Contra Costa's fundraising events, scheduled during 2019.

The Auction Coordinator will oversee and work with Auction Committee Team Members to acquire auction donations from local businesses. The committee will solicit donations and the Auction Coordinator will track and follow up with donors, using an online spreadsheet, phone calls and email communications. The coordinator may also pick up some donations. This volunteer will fill a vital supporting role with the organization, enabling SCOCO to operate with a compelling and consistent presence while significantly increasing the awareness of our mission and our organizational capacity.
