Help us promote bicycling safety by teaching youngsters how to properly wear their helmets.
We will train you on how to do a proper helmet fitting so you can pass that knowledge on to the kids at the Great Divide Campground.
TransOptions is a small non-profit that is passionate about safety in our communities. We even provide these helmets for free!
All kids who attend this event will learn how to adjust the straps on their helmet, where the helmet should sit on their forehead, and when to trade in for a new helmet. The helmet that they learn to fit, will be theirs to take home!
This is a very rewarding experience and we greatly appreciate the time volunteers donate to help us promote children's bicycling safety.
This event will be held outdoors. Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes, hats or sunscreen. Volunteers must provide their own transportation.
