If you love the snow and you are looking for a way to give back to your community, be a Snowbusting hero!
Snowbuster volunteers make an incredible difference in the lives of senior/disabled Thornton residents who are unable to pay for snow and ice removal from their sidewalks and pathways.Snowbusters help make it possible for their neighbors to safely go in and out of their homes as well as receive their meals and medication deliveries.
Volunteer Thornton pairs volunteers with those in need of Snowbusters through an application process and background check. Every year there is a waitlist of people in need of a Snowbuster.
Snowbusters commit to remove snow/ice from their resident's walkways 24 hours after a snowfall.
This year, enjoy the season by becoming a Snowbuster and helping a neighbor in need.
Volunteers must be physically able to shovel snow within 24 hours after a snowstorm.
