The first ever Philly-area 5K will take place on September 10, 2017 on the Cynwyd Trail in Lower Merion. Our Philadelphia-area organizational team-- " Stephen’s Squad" -- needs volunteers NOW who are passionate and want to make a difference. Volunteers are needed to help with the following:
learn the foundation’s online registration process and monitor the Philadelphia enrollments
work on publicity and outreach to enroll runners
enlist donations to defray the cost of the race
support race-day details

Mission Statement
Tunnel to Towers 5Ks grew out of the tragedy of 9/11. Nationally, T2T events honor all firefighters and other first responders who put life and limb on the line every day. The Foundation was originally developed in honor of Firefighter Stephen Siller, who died in the 9/11 tragedy. Proceeds go to the building of Smart Homes for disabled veterans; 90 of these homes have been built nationally through the Foundation’s fundraising, with two already built in Pennsylvania.
