Frontline Families, in conjunction with HandsOn Jacksonville and the Points of Light, is hosting a special National Volunteer Week service project at Edward White Military Academy of Leadership.
On Saturday, April 29, 2017, volunteers are needed to assist in the transformation of the schools courtyard and concession, stand area through rehabbing, painting, staining concrete and more!
The cadets, parents and faculty are welcome. All who are willing to assist them in enhancing the Heart of The Edward White Military Academy of Leadership Campus!
We are seeking Team leaders in each area of intrest
Group A - Painters (Mural painters and concrete ground painters)
Group B - Platform Repair Contractor Assistants (Maximum Volunteers: 12)
Group C - Clean Up Crew (Set Up, large trash item removal and break down)
Group D - Food Crew (Food set up, distribution throughout event and cleanup)
Group E - Registration Crew (Register and direct volunteers to assigned teams)
Please wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes.
**Water, sodas, snacks, and pizza will be provided to all volunteers of the EWMAL Courtyard and Concession Stand Renovation.**
Note: The last day for non-student volunteers to register is Thursday, April 20, 2017,due to processing of all non-student volunteers through the Duval County Public Schools Volunteer Background Check.
The Duval School Background check which is at no cost to you , but must be completed prior to the day of the event. Once you have completed this, or if you have already been cleared I can check the database and you’ll be good to go.
