The Old Takoma Business Association is seeking volunteers for the 9th Annual Takoma Art Hop on April 29th and 30th. This annual event brings a weekend of art and performances to Main Street Takoma exhibiting the works of over 70 local artists in main street shopes, restaurants, galleries, and cafes. Visitors are invited to stroll along main steet and visit 44 particpating art hop stops where they can meet the artists, view artwork in a variety of mediums, and explore local businesses.
We are recruiting volunteers to post along main street who can engage with visitors, distribute the art hop map, and promote the event to the public. Additionally, volunteers will assist with event set-up and take down. There are 4 potential shifts available on Saturday Sunday. Please note which shift you are interested in when you register. Volunteer Shifts are as follows.
Saturday April 29th
10am-2pm
2pm-6pm
Sunday April 30th
9:30am-12:30pm
12:30pm-4pm

Description
Boundary lines are invisible to the OTBA- the focus is on the entire Takoma business district from the Takoma Junction in Takoma Park, MD to the Takoma Theater in Washington, DC. The OTBA works on issues essential to independently-owned, local businesses and to a thriving community.
