Daniel Webster Elementary is an intimate and diverse dual language Spanish school located in Potrero Hill.

Description

We have a strong and influential parent community who work aggressively to raise fund in order to meet all the school’s needs. We also organize community events in order to bring the families in our diverse neighborhood together.

We are looking for event volunteers for the 7th annual Taste of Potrero, a fundraising event for public education. The event will be held on May 4th, and is returning to Pier 70 this year.
TOP is a highly curated event, run by an all-volunteer PTA crew. It draws attendees from across the city and many travel to San Francisco just to attend. We consistently attract an unbelievable lineup of bars and restaurants to support the cause. We believe that you are a great fit for our 2017 lineup and would be delighted to add you to the mix.
It is incumbent upon public schools to raise their own funds in order to provide the most basic services and supplies. Without TOP, Daniel Webster Elementary would not have arts, physical education, computers or literacy professionals. It is only through the generosity of our restaurant partners that we can continue to support such an important cause. And, as always, 100% (every penny) goes directly to the school. We are looking for event helpers the week of May 01 to assist with the event.
