We are always looking for volunteers to help out in the daily routines at the shelter as well as people to come in and spend time lovin' on our animals and even walking dogs. We are also going to be looking for additional volunteers to help out with fundraiser events as they are planned.

Description
Project Precious Paws was founded in July 2010 by a small group of dedicated animal rescuers who have a passion for helping find permanent homes for abandoned, stray, or relinquished animals.
We took over the City of Montgomery Animal Shelter on October 1, 2015 and are operating it as a contract shelter. Currently we are only taking strays brought in by the city. However, we will still take animals into foster care as space allows.
We are starting small, but are planning to grow big. If you think you might be interested in volunteering, please contact us, and we will be glad to talk to you about the many available opportunities. It doesn’t matter if you want to spend 30 minutes or 30 hours a week volunteering - it all adds up and is for a great cause: to save some great animals, and volunteer with some great people! We have a lot of fun!
