These are just a few of the goals immigrants, refugees and native-born Minnesotans work toward as they brush up on their reading and writing skills.
Come join this important work and volunteer with the Minnesota Literacy Council! Encouraging, enthusiastic volunteers are needed to tutor adult learners in English, reading and writing. Choose from one-to-one, small group and classroom assistant opportunities.
No previous experience necessary; training is provided. The time commitment ranges from 2-3 hours once per week. Flexible morning, afternoon and evening hours are available at locations throughout the metro area. Please contact us and we can match you with a program in your neighborhood.
