Save a life, foster a pet
ORGANIZATION: Saint Seton's Orphaned Animals
Please visit the new page to apply.
Saint Seton's Orphaned Animals rescues and re-homes dogs and cats surrendered to animal shelters. Some of the top reasons animals are surrendered to shelters are:
1. Family is moving
2. They have too many animals in the home
3. They cannot afford veterinary care
4. The owner passed away or was placed in a nursing home
5. No time for a pet
In short, the reasons have nothing to do with the pet. It is lack of responsibility on the part of the human (sorry to say).
So, we need temporary homes for these innocent animals while we find a permanent home. We provide the food and veterinary care. You supply the love. If you would like to learn how to train a dog, we will partner you with a trainer to teach your foster dog how to sit, sit stay, down, down/stay, come when called. We will cover the cost of the trainer.
Pets are featured on Petfinder, 800 Adopt a Pet, Facebook and we take them to pet stores where people can see them. You are welcome to join us once per month at adoption events.
We are seeking animal lovers who want to save lives. Please become a foster parent. You won't regret it!
