Enjoy organizing, career coaching, fashion and/style? This volunteer opportunity is for you! Recently, we created a Professional Clothing Botigue in our shelter home. As advocates, RAVE provides empowering services for survivors to regain confidence, self-determinaion and life skills in order to support themselves as they begin an independent life outside of abuse.
You can help run our Professional Botique which is compiled of cute, appropriate and business casual items such as jewlery, dresses, skirts, blouses, belts, shoes and more. As survivors prepare for legal hearings, job and housing internviews, volunteers will help clients choose outfits to wear.

Description
Relief After Violent Encounter - Ionia and Montcalm, Inc. offers free and confidential services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. RAVE serves the communities located in Ionia and Montcalm counties. We have a rich history built on the hard work of these communities beginning in 1979. We offer legal, court and PPO advocacy, safety planning, support groups for residents, parents, schools/teachers, children, and outreach clients, crisis response and domestic assault response services, referrals, child and adult counseling, a 24/7 365 days/year crisis line and emergency shelter. Our shelter is located in Ionia and we have outreach services in both Ionia and Montcalm county.
