We are looking for a volunteer to help us lead our photo library team.

The volunteer Lead Photo Librarian oversees the organization and management of the GHNI Photo Library database. Responsibilities include:

• Managing the upload of new images received from our work across the globe and the clean up and standardization of digital file names and folders, e.g., merging digital folders and files, selecting higher resolution images to preserve as master copies, deleting duplicate copies, and assigning image files for renaming and keyword tagging by the Photo Librarian Assistant(s).
• Supervising the volunteer Photo Librarian Assistant(s), e.g., participating in the hiring interview process, providing an orientation in the organization of the Photo Library, communicating through email, phone, and/or Zoom as needed to assign weekly tasks with deadlines for completion, to receive feedback on the progress of assignments and any issues encountered, and to plan upcoming assignments.

Detail oriented and globally minded helpful.

Experience with Box.com is preferred but we will train you if needed!
