Move For Hunger

Are you looking for something to do this spring that helps make the world a little bit better, but can't make a long term commitment?

Move For Hunger, a non-profit hunger-relief organization that works with relocation companies throughout the United States and Canada to reduce food waste and alleviate hunger in local communities, is looking for outgoing volunteers to help with our fundraising activities at the Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon Race Exposition Presented By Diadora at Monmouth Park on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.

Volunteer shifts will be broken up into 3 hour increments, and are available for one or both days:

Friday, April 27

2:30 pm - 5:30 pm
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Saturday, April 28

9:30 am - 12:30 pm
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm

We will provide volunteers with t-shirts, smiling faces, and a general sense of accomplishment - knowing that you are helping us continue to fight hunger and food waste in the community.

Move For Hunger, a 501(c) (3), is working to end hunger and food waste in America. Nearly 42 million Americans struggle with hunger while 35% of the food produced in this country goes to waste. By mobilizing moving companies, multifamily apartment communities, corporations, and volunteers, Move For Hunger has delivered more than 27 million pounds of food to food banks - providing 23 million meals for those in need.
