IT’S THE GREATEST SPECTACLE IN DOG WALKING!
Mutt Strut is a one-of a-kind event for pets of all shapes and sizes! Join the many people and pets who attend Mutt Strut each year from across Indiana! Walk a scenic course in the heart of Indiananpolis at the White River State Park, enjoy a fun day outdoors with family and furry friends, and support IndyHumane.
Be an important part of the Mutt Strut - Be a Volunteer!
Volunteers make Mutt Strut possible - we could not do it without you! Mutt Strut is our biggest fundraiser, and that also means there is a lot of work to be done. We need many volunteers to make this event all it can be. If you want to lend your time to help us make Mutt Strut a continued success, we have a place for you!
Volunteers can help in a number of ways, before, during and after the event, such as:
- Set Up - Get Mutt Strut prepped and ready for our guests
- On-Site Registration - Check in our Mutt Strut walkers when they arrive
- Vendor Assistance - Help our vendors load in and get set up
- Greeters - Welcome our Mutt Strutters to the park and help them get oriented
- Help out in the VIP lounge or Volunteer lounge
- Tear Down - Help our vendors load out, break down the event, and help us return the Speedway to its natural state

WHO WE ARE
Since 1905, IndyHumane provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals and outreach through our community and shelter programs.
A private, nonprofit organization that receives no public or private government funding, the Humane Society of Indianapolis is supported solely by contributions, grants, bequests, investments, adoption fees and other fees for service.
