UNHEARD[outloud] is a ten-day festival of productions, staged readings, workshops and more (http://lookingforlilith.org/unheardoutloud/) celebrating 15 years of lifting up women's stories and standing with the unheard.
We seek friendly, outgoing people to help in all areas of customer service during that time: ticket sales; ushering; food and drink sales; merchandise sales; staffing information booth.
6 volunteers needed per 3-4 hour shift over ten days. Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs likely one shift per evening; Fri/Sat/Sun multiple shifts per day.
Orientation session(s) will be scheduled in early July. Volunteers will report to Front of House management.
All volunteers will be recognized on our website, and receive a complimentary ticket to a performance in the Eifler Theatre at the Clifton Center.

Mission Statement
Looking for Lilith is an ensemble theatre company that creates productions and programming by examining history and today's world through women’s perspectives and lifting up unheard voices. LFL productions and programming serve adults, youth and children locally, nationally and internationally.
Description
LFL's mission is carried out through professional theatre productions in Louisville and beyond, through our touring program. In Louisville we have an extensive educational and community outreach program working with women and children of all ages, using our theatre techniques to lift up social, cultural and political issues with specific communities, giving them both a voice and skills to address them. Internationally we work with a group of indigenous women with the same process, and they have created scenes and interactive workshops to address issues specific to their own communities. LFL's work has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels with both arts and social justice awards.
